Feel Prepared & Supported
When a pregnancy is unexpected, many people begin thinking about what they will need to care for themselves and their child. Questions about finances, material support, and parenting preparation are very common.
Voice of Hope offers no-cost, confidential support programs designed to help individuals and families prepare for pregnancy, birth, and early parenting. No matter your situation, we’re here to help.
Learning Through Education
Education can play an important role in building confidence during pregnancy and early parenting. Many people benefit from learning practical skills and gaining knowledge about caring for a baby.
Education opportunities may include topics such as:
- Pregnancy and prenatal health
- Newborn care
- Parenting and child development
- Healthy relationships
- Fatherhood lessons
- Life skills that support family stability
These learning opportunities allow you to ask questions, gain new skills, and grow more confident as you prepare for the future.
Material Support
Preparing for a baby often requires many essential items. Through our material assistance program, clients may have the opportunity to receive items such as:
- Diapers and wipes
- Baby clothing (newborn to 2T)
- Maternity clothing
- Infant supplies
This program is designed to help reduce some of the financial pressure families may experience during pregnancy and early parenting. You can earn these items by participating in parenting classes.
A Community of Support
Education and material aid programs also help build connection. Many clients find encouragement simply by knowing they are not facing pregnancy alone, and a support network is always available.
Our team can also provide referrals to community organizations that offer additional support for housing, food assistance, financial aid, medical care, counseling, and parenting resources.
